Study Analyst

The Study Analyst is responsible for managing a study and conducting business discussions with private equity clients, senior executives, customers, thought leaders, and suppliers. Study Analysts are required to be competent in Microsoft®Word, Microsoft®Excel, and Microsoft® PowerPoint.

Location: Remote/work-from-home

Type: Independent contractor

Technology: Internet service with adequate bandwidth to support regular Zoom meetings. Skype service for outgoing phone calls.

• College degree
• Concentration in business, engineering, economics, or finance

• Minimum of 10 years experience in a business management role
• Prefer experience in business leadership, engineering, banking, accounting, or legal
• Prefer experience conducting in-depth conversations with senior executives
• Prefer experience conducting business analysis and valuation

• Individuals with natural inquisitive personalities, hungry for knowledge and learning
• Capable of reading and analyzing business plans, strategic plans, financial forecasts, operational P&L's, balance sheets, etc.
• Capable of conducting unstructured business conversations with senior executives
• Capable of understanding business strategy, financial strategy, product strategy, sales strategy, production dynamics, supply chain, and sales
• Capable of writing research reports clarifying complex business dynamics
