Description
The Report Writer is responsible for transforming qualitative data into finished reports. Writers are required to be competent in Microsoft®Word and Microsoft® PowerPoint.
Location: Remote/work-from-home
Type: Independent contractor
Technology: Internet service with adequate bandwidth to support regular Zoom meetings.
Education
- College or technical college degree
- Concentration in creative or technical writing
Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience as a writer
- Prefer experience copywriting for marketing communications materials, technical writing, journalistic writing, and financial reports
Skills and competencies
- Capable of reading and comprehending dialogue on a wide range of business topics from finance to operations to process to sales to product development and more.
- Capable of telling stories in written narrative text.
- Capable of transforming complex thoughts into simple, clear statements.
- Capable of producing written text that adheres to proper spelling, grammar, and journalistic style.
